Matthew 7:13-14

"'You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.'"

"But everyone's doing it!" is the cry of many a child who does not like a parent's "no." Most people are headed on a highway to destruction. Jesus is the narrow gate, the way to the Father and eternal life. There's only room for one at a time through this gate. You can't take a lot with you, either—the opening is small, just wide enough for you alone to fit through, no suitcase or backpack. But once you're in—you're in the kingdom of Heaven!
